Assignment 1
Students will create a game that is led by the instructor. These games may all run the same, but they will vary from student to student.
You will learn
- The basics of RPG maker MV
- How to create maps
- Basic scripting. Including
o Switches, Dialog, Screen tints and movement routes.
Every game will include the following.
- 10 maps including (Town map, Home map, Inn, Shops, Forest, Desert, Mountain, Cave, Boss stage, Overworld
- At least 2 events in each map.
- 4 switches with in the game.
- Dialog to progress whatever story you’re telling.
Dialog can be close to whatever you want, but it must remain school appropriate and contain some story. (The story might be provide by the teacher, We will have a class vote on this)
