For this assignment, you will choose an RPG to play from the SNES or PS1 era. It is important that you do not pick your game base on graphics alone (To speak honestly, if that drives your game choice, you’re going to miss out on this lesson. Also a 2D RPG might help some of you more than others)

While you play your game, you will

Analysis

• Breaking down a story
• This will help you with your writing as well
• Dialog
• How does the dialog feel? does it feel natural to the world?
• Music
• Does the music fit with the story, situation, level, etc
• Character Growth
• How the character grows from the beginning to end of the game. how have his thoughts changed or the way he responds to a situation.
